About

Help Me Grow Nebraska is a collective impact model where partner organizations come together to act as a connection point so young children can thrive.

This network of community resources works like a power grid. When the grid functions well, families can plug into an organized flow of resources and easily access the ones they need.

Families benefit as Help Me Grow listens to them, links them to services and provides ongoing support through this interconnected system.

  • Healthcare Providers
Supports early detection and intervention efforts and connects medical providers to the network of community resources to best support families.

  • Family & Community
Builds parent and provider understanding of healthy child development, supportive services available, and how both are important.

  • Childcare Providers
Partners with childcare providers and early education programs to incorporate developmental and behavioral screenings in your setting.

  • Data Collection & Analysis
Supports evaluation, helps identify systemic gaps, bolsters advocacy efforts, and guides quality improvement.

United Way of the Midlands and 211 serve as the backbone and centralized access point partner for Help Me Grow Nebraska.

Our Mission: Nurture every child on the path to success.

Our Vision: We will be a culturally aware and inclusive community where all young children and their families are healthy, thriving, learning, and connected.

Help Me Grow complements the Nebraska Early Development Network and Nebraska Department of Education Office of Special Education.
